We believe that language is the currency in which transactions take place, whether through employment contracts, rental agreements, legal decisions or international treaties. We decry the decline in the economic value given to the written word and believe in the restoration of writers’ ability to earn a living wage from their artistry.
To that end, we are committed to pursuing every funding possibility to remunerate authors for their contributions. In our inaugural year, writers will not be paid. Our editorial staff is volunteer. We consider it a privilege and responsibility to read your work, and promise to treat it with the care and respect we would our own.
